Smokers-Quitters.

'Rehab's for quitters, quitters are for rehabs.' , I chuckled.

I took up smoking about 5 months ago?

As a non-peer pressure - experimental thing for myself.

I never realize there was such complex dynamics to smoking.

It becoming a habit, a daily diet, the social circle and whats not.

I would like to stop someday.

Has anyone here quit smoking ?

'Do you wake up one day and say... yes, I'm going to stop now. No more for me? '

 What did you do ?

Yeah, just woke up one day, decided that this was way too unhealthy and expensive.

Was doing about a pack a day at that time. Took about 2 mths to slowly cut down and completely kick the habit.

Tough to do so because my frens who hung around with me were all smokers and hence obviously discouraging about my efforts.

Tried various methods from exercise to eating fruits to chewing gum to drinking coke when cutting down.

However, I do smoke socially now when I go clubbing or drinking once in a while. But there is no more craving to smoke anymore.

im dont have a personal vendentta with smokers
i discourage it

just think of it this way
everytime you puff, you lose a tiny part of your life.
accumulate and a piece of your life is gone.

treasure life.

You stop when you realize your teeth and fingers start to yellow, your lips dry up and your skin starts getting shot to hell. Check out Lindsay Lohan's latest pics..
